Upcoming holiday hours:
• Memorial Day, Monday, May 25: The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m., and tours of the home are offered. The first tour of the home is
at 1 p.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m.
• Juneteenth, Tuesday, June 19: The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tours of the home are offered. The first tour of the home isat 1 p.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m.
• Independence Day, Saturday, July 4: The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tours of the home are offered.
Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7:
• The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m., and tours of the home are offered. The first tour of the home is at 1 p.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m.
April - December Hours
The Hayes Home and museum are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The research library is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday and the first, second and third Saturdays of the month. On the fourth Saturday of the month, the research library is open by appointment only to out-of-town researchers using manuscript collections, and appointments should be made at least a week in advance.
Home tours:
Home tours are an hour guided tour, and they take place on the hour. On Monday - Saturday, the first tour of the home is at 10 a.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the first tour of the home is at 1 p.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you buy the 4 p.m. site pass, you will need to arrive early in order to tour the museum. The entire facility closes at 5 p.m., so if you arrive just for your 4 p.m. tour, you will not be able to tour the museum afterward.

Admission to the grounds of Spiegel Grove and the Hayes Presidential Library is free.
Hayes Museum tours for individuals are self-guided. 
The library is free and open to the public.
Those wanting to tour both buildings should plan three hours for their visit. Museum tickets permit same-day re-admittance, which allows visitors to leave the site and return later. A valid ticket must be presented for re-admission.
Group tours of 15 or more should be scheduled two weeks in advance.
If you need special accommodations for mobility or vision or hearing impairment, Hayes Presidential requests a notice of 72 hours. Requests received with fewer than 72 hours notice will be handled to the best of Hayes Presidential's ability.
