Volunteers

Every program, every event at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums has at its foundation a group of dedicated volunteers. It is only with their help that Hayes Presidential is able to accomplish so much.

Volunteers are a major part of the fundraiser Craft Beers, Cocktails and Corks. 

Hayes Presidential relies on museum docents to help give tours of the museum to the numerous school groups who visit each year. 

Civil War reenactors volunteer their time every October to make the annual Civil War Winter Camp at Spiegel Grove a success. 

Christmas dinners are a beloved event at Spiegel Grove, and numerous volunteers help make it happen for three magical nights each December. 

A volunteer portrays First Lady Lucy Hayes during a special event at Spiegel Grove. Some volunteers wear historic costumes to help with certain special events.

Volunteers help serve food at numerous events.

The Spiegel Grove Squires are the vintage base ball team at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. Players are volunteers.
