Learn more about audiobook options at free audiobook walk at Spiegel Grove
Stroll through the peaceful arboretum of Spiegel Grove, chat with fellow bookworms, sample audiobooks and learn more where to get audiobooks during the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums’ audiobook walk on Wednesday, July 29.
The audiobook walk is from 6 to 7 p.m. at Spiegel Grove, the grounds of the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums and an accredited arboretum with a mile of paved trails.
Admission to the event is free. Registration is required and can be made online below:
Hayes Presidential is partnering with Birchard Public Library in Fremont and Pan Yan Bookstore in Tiffin to give participants more information audiobooks through the event. The library and bookstore will be available on the grounds to discuss options, such as Libby, Hoopla and Libro.fm. Pan Yan Bookstore will also have a selection of books for sale.
Additionally, there will be audiobook samples from book clubs hosted by Hayes Presidential and some staff recommendations and picks around the grounds.
The audiobook walk is sponsored by Beck Friendship Kitchen. 
This event is a kick-off to a new romance book club that will be offered at Hayes Presidential. The club is inspired by Fanny Arabella Hayes Platt, sister of President Rutherford B. Hayes, and her love of reading. Information on the club is coming soon.
Hayes Presidential is America’s first presidential library and the forerunner of the federal presidential library system. It is partially funded by the state of Ohio and affiliated with the Ohio History Connection. Hayes Presidential is located at Spiegel Grove on Buckland Avenue.
