Handmade America 250 quilt raffle benefits Hayes Presidential Library & Museums


A cozy, one-of-a-kind handmade quilt with an America 250 and President Rutherford B. Hayes theme could be your new favorite blanket.
The Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is selling raffle tickets for this beautiful quilt, created by Brenda Havens and long-armed stitched by JoEllen Kaiser from now through the Aug. 22. The quilt is 73 inches by 64 inches.
Raffle tickets are $10 and available at the museum front desk or online below.
Proceeds from the raffle benefit Hayes Presidential, a non-profit organization.
Hayes Presidential expresses huge thanks to Havens and Kaiser, who has a quilt shop in Lindsey. They donated their time and talents to create this beautiful work of Americana art.
The winner of the raffle will be drawn during Craft Beers, Cocktails & Corks on Saturday, Aug. 22. The winner does not need to be present to win. They will be notified, and the quilt can be shipped to them.
