Connect, enjoy arboretum, nature at Spiegel Grove Stroll
Make friends, bring your dog and enjoy nature and the beautiful arboretum of Spiegel Grove with the new Spiegel Grove Stroll walking club at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums.
The Spiegel Grove Stroll meets every Tuesday from July 7 through Oct. 27. Walking times are 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.
Strollers can check in at the steps by the columns on the north side of the museum.
This new community initiative brings together wellness and connection on the 25-acre wooded grounds of the Hayes Presidential Library and Museums, the former estate of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes and First Lady Lucy Hayes and an accredited arboretum.
The Spiegel Grove Stroll encourages walkers to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of walking while engaging with the historic and natural beauty of the Grove. Spiegel Grove has mile of paved trails and is dog friendly. Walkers are asked to clean up after their pets.
Throughout the Spiegel Grove Stroll season, participants will be invited to return regularly, track their walks and celebrate milestones with small incentives that help foster healthy habits, connection and a sense of community.
Strollers receive a wrist band on their first stroll and a T-shirt on their 12th.
The Spiegel Grove Stroll is sponsored by FriendShip Kitchen.
