Christopher Bader, Ph.D., discusses his research into Americans' beliefs in the paranormal during this online-only presentation, recorded on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020. Bader is the author of "Paranormal America: Ghost Encounters, UFO Sightings, Bigfoot Hunts, and Other Curiosities in Religion and Culture." Bader is a professor of sociology at Chapman University in Orange, California. This presentation was given as part of our special exhibit, "Ohio: An Unnatural History," which is on display through Halloween 2021.
