Fourth graders and up to three family members accompanying them can receive free admission to the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums throughout July through America 250-Ohio’s 4th Grade History Plus Pass.
Hayes Presidential also continues to participate in America 250-Ohio’s regular 4th Grade History Pass, which allows fourth graders to receive free admission to the site, in June and August, as well. During June and August, their family members are charged admission.
Hayes Presidential staff to give presentations on wide range of topics – from historical to artificial intelligence – at Lakeside

Throughout the summer, Hayes Presidential Library & Museums staff members will share their knowledge about a vaiety of topics, ranging from historical information from President Hayes’ era to artificial intelligence during the Chautauqua Lecture Series at Lakeside Chautauqua.
Admission to the programs is included with the Chautauqua daily, weekly or season pass. Programs take place in the Orchestra Hall.
Local celebrities batter up with vintage base ball team at Hayes Presidential

Local celebrities will suit up and play the Spiegel Grove Squires, the vintage base ball team at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums, on Sunday, June 14.
The match is at 1 p.m. on the lawn behind the Hayes Home. Admission is free. The Squires and celebrities will mix into two teams that will play each other.

Spiegel Grove Squires return for season of vintage base ball at home, across Ohio

Ten breweries and two wineries will offer samples, and guests can enjoy a cocktail during the eighth-annual Craft Beers, Cocktails & Corks at Spiegel Grove on Saturday, Aug 22.
The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. The VIP ticketed experience returns for its third year and will begin at 3 p.m.

This year, tree tour guide John Havens, Hayes Presidential Library & Museums building and grounds superintendent, will dress in colonial garb and add some early American tree history to the tours in honor of America’s semiquincentennial, or 250th birthday this year.
