Why make a gift?
When you support the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museums you are supporting the Nation’s First Presidential Library; which opened in 1916. Because the Federal Presidential Library System did not start until 1939, the Hayes Presidential Library and Museums is not federally funded. This organization is a 501 (c) 3. Private donations help us provide educational programming and events. We appreciate your support of this national treasure.
Areas your gifts help:
- Presidential Library - The Nation’s First Presidential Library
- Presidential Museum - Thousands of artifacts and imaging tell the story of our 19th President, Rutherford B. Hayes and his wife Lucy
- President’s Home - The Home is a 21,200 square feet, 31-room mansion
- Spiegel Grove - 25 acres of beautiful grounds surrounding the Library, Museum, Home and Tomb, with White House Gates at all entrances
