Why does the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums matter? Please share your thoughts! - 
Due to a power outage, all of our facilities are closed the rest of the day for Friday, March 13. We apologize for any inconvenience. The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums, along with the Ohio History Connection, digitized the five-volume set of the Diary and Letters of Rutherford Birchard Hayes. State Archives staff members scanned the 3000 pages of the books and the images were processed through an optical character recognition program Prime Recognition.
The Hayes Presidential Library & Museums Board of Trustees Fund and the Ohio Historical Foundation financially supported the project.
