The Rutherford B. Hayes Library and Museums’ Endowment supports one-third of the annual operating budget.
Your donation of money or property allows for ongoing support to the Library and Museums. The endowment is structured so that the principal amount is kept intact while some of the investment income is released each year.
The endowment was first funded by the President’s son, Webb Cook Hayes in 1916, when he founded the Nation’s First Presidential Library and Museum.
