How to order Obituaries from the Elyria Public Library system (EPLS)

EPLS has made available the digital content of Elyria’s newspapers including The Chronicle Telegram through the Newspaper Archives database. Newspaper Archives and other genealogical resources can be found on our website at https://elyrialibrary.org/content/genealogy.

There is no charge for a digital copy emailed to you or a printed copy mailed to you.

Requests must include the name of the person in the obituary, the newspaper name or abbreviation, date, and page (if available) of the person for whom the obituary is being requested. The request must also include the person’s name, address, telephone number, and email (if applicable) of the person making a request.
