The charge is $3.00 per obituary (not per person - some people have several obits.)
Make a list of the name(s) and the citation(s) - newspaper name or abbreviation, date, page, column. You may also print and mail in this form.
Mail with check to "Bellevue Public Library" for amount - (number of obits multiplied by $3.00):

Bellevue Public Library

Bellevue OH 44811

The Bellevue Public Library staff will send you the copies of the obits as soon as they can get to them. The turnaround time will depend on the amount of traffic this web service generates. Recipients should allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Of course, it is always possible for the researcher to visit the Bellevue Public Library in person. Copies made on-site are only $.15 each. For information about hours and location, try their web site: http://www.bellevue.lib.oh.us.

The Bellevue Public Library owns an incomplete collection of microfilm for Bellevue newspapers dating from February 20, 1869 to the present. The Hayes Presidential Center Library maintains an Obituary Index, and it contains basic information about obituaries published in Bellevue's newspapers through 2000. Please check the List of Newspapers under "Location" to verify which library owns the newspaper microfilm at http://www.rbhayes.org/hayes/index/list.asp.
