Hayes Easter Egg roll set for April 11 canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic
For the health and safety of its visitors, volunteers, staff and the general public, the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is canceling its annual Easter Egg roll that was set for Saturday, April 11.
Hayes Presidential is following the governor’s orders to help curb the COVID-19 pandemic and made the decision today to cancel the popular event. Hayes Presidential hope to schedule an event that incorporates some of the egg roll games and activities for later in the year.
The egg roll has been an annual tradition at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums since 1986.
The Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is America’s first presidential library and the forerunner of the federal presidential library system. It is partially funded by the state of Ohio and affiliated with the Ohio History Connection. The Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is located at Spiegel Grove at the corner of Hayes and Buckland avenues.
