The Perry G. Walker Collection is part of the Charles E. Frohman Collection. 

Biographical Sketch
Perry G. Walker was a pioneer citizen of Sandusky, Ohio, having moved to the city as a young man.  He was a highly regarded accountant and was often engaged in settling estate cases.  Perry was connected with various banking institutions and was the director of the Third National Exchange Bank.  Perry G. Walker died in Sandusky, Ohio on 14 April 1907 at the age of 75. 

Scope and Content
This collection, spanning from 1860-1897, contains legal documents (estate papers, deeds, wills) pertaining to the clients of Perry G. Walker.  A majority of the collection concerns the estate of Charles N. and Sarah Ryan of Sandusky, Ohio.  The Ryan’s owned a lumber business known as Ryan, Johnson & Co.  Charles and Sarah also owned lots 267-271 of the Victory Park Hotel located on South Bass Island.  Further information on Ryan, Johnson & Co. can be found in the Charles E. Frohman vertical file.  These papers represent a fragmentary record of Perry G. Walker’s career.
