The main entrance of the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center is located at the corner of Hayes and Buckland avenues. Our facility consists of two buildings – the Hayes Home and Hayes Museum . Daily tours of both are available year-round. Visitors can opt to tour one building or both. Tours of the Hayes Home are guide led and take 45 minutes. The Hayes Museum involves a self-guided tour. However Docent-led Museum tours are available for groups of 15 or more by prior arrangement.
NOTE: Visitors planning to tour both buildings should plan on three hours for their visit. Tickets permit same-day re-admittance, allowing you to leave the site for lunch and return later. Valid ticket must be presented for re-admission.
Photography is NOT permitted inside the Hayes Home. Photographs may be taken inside the Hayes Museum and on the grounds of Spiegel Grove.

*NOTE: When major holidays fall on weekends, additional closings may occur to permit our staff to celebrate with their families.
