First Lady fashion exhibited
The Centers newest exhibit First-Lady Style: White House Gowns examines the role of the First Lady using fashion as a focus. The exhibit brings together 33 original or reproduction gowns worn by American First Ladies. Complimenting the exhibit is a collection of miniature copies of inaugural gowns worn every First Lady through Hillary Clinton.
First-Lady Style: White House Gowns is on exhibit February 12 through August 2 in the Hayes Museum. The exhibit is made possible by the Randolph J. and Estelle M. Dorn Foundation, with additional funding from Key Bank National Association Trustee for the Walter E. Terhune Memorial Fund. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sundays and federal holidays. Admission is $6/adult, $5/senior citizen, $2/children ages 6-12.
