Our volunteers are our strength

One of the many volunteers who help in the Museum Store arranges new merchandise. The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums has numerous volunteer opportunities for people interested in history, the presidency, genealogy and more.

Our volunteers help out as: Museum docents giving museum tours to groups, during Christmas Dinners at Spiegel Grove, Hayes Easter Egg Roll, Verandah Concerts, exhibit openings, Hayes Lecture on the Presidency, and as research assistants in the Hayes Library, Manuscripts Division, and Development Office.
Volunteers are a critical part of HPLM's many special events, including our GroveFest community event/fundraiser.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information about volunteer opportunities at HPLM, please complete the application listed below and hit 'submit.' Our Special Events/Volunteer Coordinator Joan Eckermann will contact you.

If you prefer to speak to Joan personally, please telephone her at 419-332-2081, ext. 245.

I would be interested in volunteering at the Hayes Presidential Center.
