This delicate laser-cut brass keepsake depicts the majestic Hayes Mansion as seen from the east. President Hayes's beloved 80-foot verandah is separately die cut and affixed to the main portion of the ornament, creating a three-dimensional effect. The home's red brick exterior and a pair of Spiegel Grove trees add touches of color to the piece, which otherwise is coated in 24 carat gold plate. Each ornament comes packaged in a decorative box featuring a metallic-embossed replica of the presidential seal from the Hayes administration, and containing an insert detailing the history of the 31-room Hayes Mansion.
