This collection, spanning from 1861 to 1865, contains a single carte de visite album belonging to Walter F. Huber who was a member of the 1st Michigan Engineers Regiment, Company B. The photographs in the album are primarily images of soldiers in Civil War uniform,. with the bulk of them being identified. There are also two gem type photographs in the carte de visite album. In addition, the album contains carte de visite images of prominent Civil War military leaders.
