Genealogy News from the Hayes Presidential Center

Special Edition

Attention Hayes Center Members ($45 +)

Newspaper Archives is one of our benefits to members. Due to a changeover of their system, it has not been available to members at home via remote access since last Thursday or Friday.

It is now fixed!

If you have been one of the many researchers who have missed their genealogical newspaper fix the past few days, you can now log in and search to your heart's content. Remember to go to www.rbhayes.org and put in your member number in the upper right hand corner. This will take you to the Hayes page, which in turn takes you to Newspaper Archives. Have fun. It has a new look and perhaps you can find your ancestors easier now!

Newspaper Archives extend their apology for the disruption in service.

Help us plan for our future:
We value your input

In 2016, the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center will celebrate the centennial of its founding as the nation's FIRST presidential library. We are motivated by this approaching milestone to create a Strategic Plan that will propel our organization forward by addressing critical issues and meeting the needs of our public in exciting and cutting-edge ways. The Strategic Plan will focus on seven core areas: Collections, Public Relations, Buildings and Grounds, Education, Funding, Governance, and Human Resources.

We need your help!

Please take a few minutes to answer the questions in the survey available at this link
www.surveymonkey.com/s/hayespresidentialcentersurvey .

We want to get a sense of how you view us, and what kind of organization you would like us to be in the future.
We would like all surveys completed by February 1.
