Event Title: Fourth of July holiday
Event Description: In honor of the Fourth of July holiday, the Hayes Home and Hayes Museum observe reduced 'holiday hours' of noon-5 p.m. The Hayes Library and business offices are closed.

Event Title: The War of 1812 on the Ohio Frontier
Event Description: In commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812, the Hayes Museum presents an exclusive exhibit detailing Northwest Ohio’s influential role in turning the War of 1812 from a defeat to victory. Artifacts and manuscripts from the Hayes Presidential Center Collections, area museums and historical societies, and the private collection of Lou Schultz offer insights into the war’s battles fought on the Ohio frontier. Made possible through sponsorship from the Sidney Frohman Foundation.

Time: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM   
Event Title: Independence Day Concert
Event Description: Take part in a red, white, and BOOM celebration at the home of the nation's first presidential center. Civil War reenactors join the gifted musicians of the Toledo Symphony Concert Band in a rousing concert of patriotic and popular tunes. Cover your ears and hold onto your chair during performance of the "1812 Overture" which features cannon-fire accompaniment! Admission is FREE. Come early and enjoy refreshments. Don't forget to bring your own seat for this outdoor event.
