Event Title: The War of 1812 on the Ohio Frontier
Event Description: In commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812, the Hayes Museum presents an exclusive exhibit detailing Northwest Ohio’s influential role in turning the War of 1812 from a defeat to victory. Artifacts and manuscripts from the Hayes Presidential Center Collections, area museums and historical societies, and the private collection of Lou Schultz offer insights into the war’s battles fought on the Ohio frontier. Made possible through sponsorship from the Sidney Frohman Foundation.

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM   
Event Title: Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides through Spiegel Grove
Event Description: In honor of Presidents’ Day, take a tour through the 25-acre estate of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes using the mode of transportation he used - a horse-drawn sleigh. Rides are provided by South Creek Clydesdales of Fremont. After the ride, stay for the day and tour the newly restored 31-room Hayes Home, and the two-story Hayes Museum & Library. Sleigh/carriage rides cost $3.00 per person.
