Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Event Title: Dressed for Life: First Ladies' and Red Dress Collection
Event Description: The Hayes Presidential Center combines White House history with the very timely issue of women’s heart health in its newest temporary exhibit – Dressed for Life: First Ladies’ and Red Dress Collection. More than a half dozen red dresses worn by First Ladies are displayed along with celebrity dresses from New York City’s annual Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. The show is part of The Heart Truth - a national awareness campaign focused on women’s hearth health. Included in the exhibit are dresses worn by First Ladies Pat Nixon, Betty Ford, Carolyn Harrison, Rosalyn Carter, Laura Bush, and Lucy Hayes. Celebrity dresses, by top international designers, include those worn by Robin Roberts, Heidi Klum, Emmylou Harris, and Venus Williams. A series of women’s heart-health awareness programming is planned in conjunction with the exhibit.

Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Event Title: Hayes Train Special exhibit
Event Description: Everyone is a kid again as they watch eight different model trains travel a 12x24-foot, three-tier model train layout. All of the trains are styles that relate to the life of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes and his family. Visitors act as engineers lifting gates, flashing lights, sounding the whistle, and more, via a series of interactive buttons. A miniature Victorian village provides a picturesque setting through which the trains travel.
