100. Rufus Hayes⁴ was born on 17 October 1763 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ He in 1785.⁴ He freeman in 1788 in Granby, Hampshire Co., MA.⁴ Rufus died on 23 May 1819 in South Hadley, Hampshire Co., MA.⁴ He was a farmer and mechanic in Clinton, Oneida Co., NY.⁴

Rufus Hayes and Hannah Johnson were married on 20 September 1788. Hannah Johnson⁴ was born about 1763. She died on 19 February 1849 in Clinton, Oneida Co., NY.
