83. Obadiah Hayes⁴ was born on 14 June 1754 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. In 1795 he was a School Commissioner.⁴ He died on 23 March 1817.⁴ Obadiah was buried in North Granby, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ He was a farmer in North Granby, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ "on church covenant at Salmon Brook, with wife, 1793" (Hayes, 1884, p. 34).

Obadiah Hayes and Ahinoam Holcombe were married on 25 September 1780 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ Ahinoam Holcombe⁴ was born on 18 March 1757 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She died on 10 September 1844 in North Granby, Hartford Co., CT.
