whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:
To the
Sheriff of Richland County, Greeting:
WHEREAS, Satisfactory evidence has been received at this
Department that a vacancy exists in the office of Representative from the
county of Richland, in the General Assembly of Ohio, caused by the death of
Andrew Gerhart, you are hereby notified to hold a special election in said
county on Tuesday, the 29th day of December, 1868, ensuing, at the
usual place of holding the same therein, for the purpose of filling such
vacancy; and you will give notice of the time and place of holding such
election in your proclamation.
In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the
Great Seal of the State of Ohio to be affixed at Columbus, this 3d day of
December, 1868.
