SPECIAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION (16TH SENATORIAL DISTRICT)

To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:
To the several Sheriffs of Delaware and Licking Counties, Greeting:
WHEREAS, Satisfactory information has been received at this Department that a vacancy exists in the office of Senator in the Sixteenth Senatorial District, composed of the counties of Delaware and Licking, caused by the resignation of James R. Hubbell, you are hereby notified and directed to hold special elections in said counties on the second Tuesday of October ensuing, at the usual place of holding the same therein, for the purpose of filling such vacancy; and you will give notice of the time and place for holding such election in your several proclamations.
