LETTER TO LEADER OF THE BOLIVIA REPUBLIC

I hereby authorize and direct the Secretary of State to cause the Seal of the United States to be affixed to an envelope containing a ceremonial letter addressed to President Campero of the Bolivia Republic, in reply to his letter of the 20^th of June last, dated this day, and signed by me; and for so doing this shall be his warrant.
